Retired Wall Street banker Charles Ortel for several years has been examining the innards of the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation (the Clinton Foundation), concentrating on its financials, corporate structure and various "philanthropic" projects it has undertaken all over the world.

His self-directed investigations have led him to conclude that the foundation, which raked in staggering amounts of money in "donations" to fund foundation projects, not only was a money mill for the Clintons, but is "the largest unprosecuted fraud in U.S. history."

At first it seemed Ortell's investigations were being ignored by authorities. But the meticulousness of his research and the shocking findings it produced soon attracted the attention of investigators and prosecutors worldwide. They quietly started doing their own digging.

Ortel files his latest report and findings on the Clinton Foundation. There is strong evidence, he says, that the curtain is finally descending on the Clintons and their global, multimillion-dollar "charity" schemes.

Ever the healer, President Donald Trump has adopted a new campaign to heal the nation's deep racial wounds. 

He's encouraging Jews to dump the Democratic Party, endorsing the view of Jexodus, a newly created movement that advocates opposition to and withdrawal from organizations seen as anti-Israel or the interests of Jews.

Leid Stories asks: Is this what a president ought to doing?

 

U.S. involvement in Venezuela, openly attempting to bring down the government of duly elected President Nicolas Maduro and instead install a puppet regime under opposition leader Juan Guido, has escalated over the past several months. Plunged into internal strife, Venezuela has managed to fend off a civil war and threats of U.S.-backed attacks from outside its borders.

Curiously, there have been no hearings in Congress on the matter, especially considering the alignment of international forces.

Why is the U.S. Congress not sounding the alarm? Why are we being kept in the dark about a world war brewing in our back yard?

 

 

Leid Stories--Pelosi, Schiff Waiver on Impeachment. Why?--03.13.19

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had held over President Donald Trump's head the possibility of impeachment for his incompetent leadership of the country and the endemic corruption that became synonymous with his administration. But two days ago, the Democratic leader did an about-face. She didn't think impeaching Trump was "worth it," she said

 

Rep. Adam Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has had a similar epiphany. After following Trump's trail for months, saying how dirty it is, he, too, says impeaching Trump is not a good idea.

 

Neither Pelosi nor Schiff is saying what has caused this sudden change of mind. But Leid Stories listeners offer some ideas.

No surprise with the proposed  budget President Trump released yesterday. Big cuts in safety-net programs, huge increases in military spending, and  billions more for The Wall.

 

Upon reflection,  House leader Nancy Pelosi said yesterday she doesn't think impeaching Trump is "worth it." House Intelligence  Committee chairman Adam Schiff, echoing Pelosi's view, raised doubts about the strength of the evidence against Trump? So, are they saying there is no case for impeachment?

 

Democratic presidential candidate Julian Castro yesterday raised the "R" word, reparations, to attack fellow contender Bernie Sanders' opposition to reparations for descendants of African slaves. Castro's plan does not exist at the moment-- except that he will convene a group, once elected, to hammer out a plan.
