But mass protests across the country over police actions and Taylor's death continue, even after the city agreed to a $12-million payout to her family. Listeners discuss the significance of the case and the outcomes so far.
Philanthropist and former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg has helped raise $20 million to help a Florida-based charity, the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, restore the voting rights of 32,000 ex-felons, who cannot vote until all money penalties against them are paid. It's a civic-minded charitable cause, Bloomberg says. But is it also a way to "buy" a bloc of votes pushing for a Joe Biden win in a swing state?

The question of Trump's mental fitness for office, raised again recently by an organization by psychiatrists, psychologists and mental health professionals, appears to have gone dead.
The professional group had warned that Trump has "a dangerous mental illness" that should bar him from being president of the United States.
Could raising Trump's allegedly severe mental problems trigger similar questions about Biden's mental health?
