Here's what we're talking about on Leid Stories today.
Andrew Yang, a brash, lawyer-entrepreneur from New York City, last year made a bid for president. He was among the many political casualties of the Biden campaign.
Yang made an independent bid for mayor of New York City earlier this year, but couldn't overcome popular support for Democrat Eric Adams, a former borough president of Brooklyn.
As an independent candidate, running under the Forward Party he founded, Yang once again has his eyes set on public office.
He may or may not succeed, but his political attempts do raise an important question: What does / it take to break the stranglehold on politics?
