Ex-cop Derek Chauvin, chararged in the killing of George Floyd, is seeking both a delay in his trial as well as a change of venue. The Minneapolis court has not yet made a decision, but Chauvin is arguing that a public announcement that the City Council had agreed to a $27-million settlement with the Floyd family seriously jeopardizes his case.
