▪︎The Colonial Pipeline, which runs from Houston to Linden, New Jersey, and supplies 45 percent of the fuel used on the Eastern Seaboard, is back online.
A ransomware organization calling itself DarkSide had claimed responsibility for unleashing a cyberattack against Colonial, disabling its pumps and other vital operations. DarkSide demanded a ransom to undo its handiwork. Meanwhile, coast to coast across the South many gas stations are running out or already have run out of fuel.
