Thursday Mar 19, 2020
Should there be an independent investigation into the Democratic party's presidential primaries in Arizona, Florida and Illinois to determine whether any of those statewide elections were compromised, and their results engineered, so as to produce a desired result?

What's Sanders' Next Move? Yesterday's Democratic primaries in Florida. Illinois and Arizona put Joe Biden, who took all three states, in the catbird seat and Bernie Sanders in a quandary. For Biden, the road ahead is clear: build momentum and his base, and hammer away at Trump's many policy disasters. But Sanders has a lot to think about in deciding his next move.
It's Only Money! Seems just about everybody loves the idea now. Ex-presidential candidate Andrew Yang had called it a Universal Basic Income when he proposed a guaranteed monthly income, apart from what many might already be earning on a job, for all adults. Yang was ridiculed for the idea. But none other than President Trump and his treasury secretary, Steve Mnuchin, are pushing the very program Yang had pushed for. Not only that, they want checks in the mail to recipients immediately!

What's the Plan? The Other National Emergency That No One Is Talking About (Part 2)
We continue yesterday's discussion on how President Donald J. Trump, his administration, Congress and all levels of government are funding, and will continue to fund, scores of projects and initiatives across the nation to blunt coronavirus contagion and deaths in the United States.
For now, there's a steady stream of news to gladden the heart. The money is flowing to back Trump's epic battle with the virus and save American lives. But what will it cost? Where will it come from? What will be the true cost?

What's the Plan? The Other National Emergency That No One Is Talking About
President Trump and his administration can't walk and chew gum at the same time, even though it's a skill all top-tier bureaucrats should have. The Coronavirus crisis is a case on point. We are now getting some information about the government's response to the health crisis, but zero information about the other national emergency--how much it will cost and how it will be paid for. What's the plan?
The Septuagenarians Play at Fisticuffs
That was no "debate;" it was two old guys--Joe Biden, 77, and Bernie Sanders, 78--talking to each other about their respective glory days and how they yearn for a replay so they can truly shine.
Once again, the fire within them was tempered by "sensible" questions from a media panel that killed any chance of a full-fledged, free-wheeling exchange between the titans.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden left main rival Bernie Sanders no chance for a dignified exit from a six-state regional primary yesterday. Sanders' defeat was crushing, especially after a stunning bout against Biden and other major contenders in the March 3 Super Tuesday presidential primaries in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and Democrats abroad. Yesterday's pared-down matchup in six states--Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Idaho, North Dakota and Washington state--saw Biden reverse Sanders' good fortune.
What happened, and what happens to Sanders' campaign now? Leid Stories listeners advance their theories.
