The Republican-led U.S. Senate prepares to weigh impeachment charges against President Donald Trump tomorrow amid deep political divisions and bipartisan acrimony. What guarantee is there that the process and outcome, which could mean impeachment for the president when the trial ends, will be fair?

The majority-Democrat House Judiciary Committee, last week voted out two articles of impeachment against Trump after hearings--abuse of power and obstruction of  Congress. Now, those charges must be tried and ultimately decided by the Senate.

As the Democrat-led House Judiciary  Committee works to meet its self-imposed deadline today to finalize two articles of impeachment against Presi-dent Donald Trump,  the air is abuzz with rumors of an emergency effort by several Republicans to persuade the  Democrat-led committee to hold off on impeach-ment and instead consider a comprom-ise. There has been no confirmation of a deal, but if there were such a proposal, who wins in the game of winners and losers?

Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) wants to know why the racist/white supremacist beliefs and actions of Trump and his administration are not being considered as viable causes of action in Trump's impeachment. Green twice tried to persuade members of Congress to charge Trump with stoking the flames of racial hatred/white supremacy, both at home and abroad.
